Why the hell are they clashing it with Linfield v Derry?? Could they not have it on at 10;00 the way they would get more viewers as alot of people may be interested in watching the Linfield v Derry game.

Not alot of people have Setanta.

The eL highlights show will attract alot more viewers than Derry -v- Linfield.

I think its great the new highlights show is on at a proper time.

Delighted biggrin.gif **** Setanta, they couldn't care less about the fans.

Does this mean the end of them changing live games to a Monday night, as it'll clash with the LoI highlights show?

8pm is a perfect time for this programme........all the younger audience will be able to watch it as it's before the 9pm watershed. good.gif
Beats waiting 'til 11.30 or 11.45 at night & then having to look at Osam's smiling face. cool.gif

I'll miss Dermot's Keely's comical accent. He should come with subtitles really.

And Trevor Welch saying "Of course" about a hundred times in 30 minutes.

Yeah but how many times is there going to be a Setanta game on a Monday night?? A handful?? The highlights show is going to be on for the whole year and should take precedent. Plus the fact that more people will watch RTE as it is free. So IMO the Linfield v Derry game should move.

8pm on a monday is a great time. good.gif Does anyone remember when Italian football was on at the same time all those years ago. How times have changed indeed.

Be interesting to see who their pundits will be. It could just be Roddy & Dave Barry like during the live games. But as someone else said maybe Rico could join too like he used do when Eircom League Weekly first began.

Be also interesting to see if it will be an hour long as they previously announced. We may finally get decent highlights of all games that take place instead of 1 or 2 minute clips of some of them dry.gif

I hear Paul Osam is going to be the presenter.

But Michael Devine walked so that his feet were at a 45 degree angle (he was not the only one walking like that in City's team).

No it isn't.
