Shelbourne go top after battering Kildare County 5-0
Dundalk draw with Monaghan United 0-0
Wexford Youths beat Limerick 37 1-0

Today

Athlone Town v Sporting Fingal

Waterford United v Longford Town

Big win for Shels, they're scoring by the boatloads at the moment. In my opinion they'll take the title

Of the top sides Dundalk looked best suited to the Premier. Would like to say Waterford but there does not seem to be enough support in that City for football.

I would hate to see $hels come back up. Sh*t club, no fans and they play in a hole of a stadium. Imo this league needs big clubs like Dundalk in the preier division. They are historically a huge club and have the potential for a huge fanbase.

It would be terrible to see Athlone go down to the a league - they have a great stand and are another club with history and potential for a decent fanbase

Dublin City did well for there first few years too.

To stand a chance SF need consistently good crowds.

Best of luck to 'em.

Can't believe people want 2 teams from the shithole that is Louth. Bad enough going there twice a year.

At least with Shels we might get a big crowd at the cross.

C'mon the Town!
A successful Dundalk would bring just as much atmosphere and vibrance to the league as Shels.

Big wins for Shels and Dundalk at the weekend - can't see anyone other than them getting promoted. Hope it's Dundalk

G'wan de Towen!
3-0 away to Longford tonight. Pressure back on Shels now.
Really hope Dundalk come up.
And UCD go down.
And one of Galway/ Cobh stay up.
And City complete a clean sweep of domestic honours all while competing in the UEFA Cup group stages.
And Reading get relegated again.
And Sunderblah take their place in the whatever-the-f**K-that-division-is-called division.

That's all really. Pretty much.

the worst thing that could happen to Fingal is to get promoted they need to establish themselves in the first division and build up a support base, they have serious potential for growth if they can get it right

Yeah, agree, they'd be a disaster in the premier division. Hopefully Dundalk hang onto top spot.
