Set up in 2007, the CCFCForum.com Player Sponsorship initiative raises funds to sponsor Cork City FC player(s) for the season.

The following is a list of previously sponsored players:

2007: Dan Murray
2008: George O'Callaghan & Darren Murphy.

Members who have contributed to the Player Sponsorship are shown as green on the Online Users list on the forum homepage and a full list of contributors for the 2008 season may be found Here

As part of sponsoring a player, the contributors raffle amongst them:

The package for Player Sponsors includes:

1) A signed jersey (official jersey used by the player in the 2008 season).
2) The sponsored player(s) to attend a promotional event and present the jersey(s) to the organisation that has sponsored them in the 2008 season (subject to availability).
3) 2 Cork City FC Season Tickets for the 2008 eircom League season.
4) All 2008 Player Sponsors will be advertised on the new “Rebel Army Business Directory” on our website.
5) The Sponsors chosen caption to appear alongside the Player’s photograph in the 2008 Matchday Programme.
