This has been our worst start to a league season since 2001.
That is all.

Depressing - id rather think that we are in the middle of a long unbeaten run!

When things were going right and trophys were being won, why change them especially for the Carmarthen King?

A better start only by virtue of the goals scored column.

Buck has to stop with Mathews, he has the squad (unlike the previous manager) but not alone is he not producing the results he's not producing a brand of football that Cork City FC should be producing. All in all he's been a disaster and if we don't win on Friday night his position should be in doubt.

It's too early to start calling for Mathews head, but it is time for him to start trying new ideas in terms of the line-up. Hopefully we'll see that Friday.

Agree with that 100% but there is no harm in Mathews knowing that what we've seen so far is not what is expected in Cork

exactly SOC, huge difference in manager us to managing a relatively nothing club like longford where an series of results like we have can be spun as being good.

So far we've been mostly shapeless and rare if ever threatening to score, yet we have by everyones opinion a much better team then last year. Only thing is last year we were able to score in these games and play decent football..

this short pass, short pass, short pass, back pass, longball hoof, stuff isnt what we should be playing!!

buck stops with Matthews, we've improved the squad by spending a fair chunk of money in buying in quality players yet gotten considerably worse on the pitch!!

WHY?

with the talent we have at city now at the moment surely it'll all come together sooner rather than later. if it doesn't there's only matthews and the other coaches to blame. we've got talent all the way throught the team both defensively and offensively. its just a matter of getting the mix right
