but I think this would be a great time to make a bid for Barry Murphy. it might take a bit of money but it would be a long term investment that we would benefit from for years.

Atm Pat Scully is falling out with everyone and Stephen Rice has requested a transfer because of a disagreement with him. Apparently this all stems from when Scully asked Rice, Murphy and ger O brien to fake injuries and not play for the u23's.

All 3 decided to play anyway.

Rovers fans are speculating how long it will take for Scully to lose the plot with the other 2.

if there is bad feeling there then both Scully and Murphy might be willing to take the money and the opportunity to move on.

We badly need a young keeper for the forseeable future and Barry Murphy is the best young keeper in the league. A full time contract might just make him move. Maybe he wouldnt,as he'd have his pick of Dublin clubs but its certainly worth enquiring about
