Danny Murphy

Seeing as starting threads about individual players is now all the rage, I think Danny deserves his own one at this stage.

Either he was dropped on his head from a great height in Scotland, or 2005 was just a flash in the pan.

I realise his commitment is never in doubt and he always gives 100% when he's out there, my question is, is he good enough? 90% of the hoofs people complain about eminate from the left back position, he can't cross the ball, and is caught out of position several times in any given game. The tendenacy is to blame Kearney, however, the fact that he's not a left back IMO exhonerates him from blame when Danny gives the ball to an opposition player on the half way line.

Let me be clear about the fact that I am not personally acquainted with Danny, nor have I ever met him in any drinking establishments, and as such my opinion is purely football based and is in no way a slight on Danny's character. I'm sure he's a nice guy and I believe he has genuine affection for the club and its fans, but IMO he's been awful since he came back!

Good player but don't think we need him at the moment. Also likely to be a fee involved. Kenny had him at Bohs so Derry might be intersted, particularly given the McCourt money. Expect mandatory St. Pat's bid as well I'd say.

VHS to DVD transfer

Anybody out there know if there's somewhere locally that would transfer an old VHS home movie to DVD? If not, how much would it set me back to buy one of those combos and do it myself?
