Setanta Cup Final

Unfortunately not all of us were able to make it to the final so I'm just wondering if anybody has it recorded on DVD??

Ideally I'd love to see the full thing including studio pre-game and post-game footage so if anyone has that I'd be forever grateful.

New Manager Next Season

Heard tonight that Mathews is gonna leave at the end of the season and that Pat Morley is being lined up to take over next season.

Heard it from a realible source but no source can really be 100% I guess.

How You Chose Your NFL Team

Aside from the general topic for NFL 2008 chat I was just wondering how people from here chose the particular team they support.

I'm a NY Giants fan myself. Reason being that the first NFL game I ever saw as a kid was XXI back in 1987 when my dad let me stay up late to watch it. Obviously I didn't have a clue what was going on but he was shouting for the Giants as his sister lives in NY so they automatically became my team!! Kept an eye on how they were doing through the years after that but was never majorly into the sport until about 6 years ago or so when it was show more frequently on tv here.

Have seen them play 3 times and going over again this year for another game.

Games Postponed

Adverse weather conditions have forced the postponement of two further eircom League of Ireland matches. Drogheda United v Cobh Ramblers and Athlone Town v Dundalk have both been postponed due to waterlogged pitches after a day of intense rain.



This brings to seven the number of eircom League of Ireland matches to have been postponed.



Matches postponed are as follows:



Wexford Youths v Longford Town

Shelbourne v Waterford United

St. Patrick’s Athletic v Galway United

Cork City v Derry City

Kildare County v Limerick 37

Drogheda United v Cobh Ramblers

Athlone Town v Dundalk



New dates for the fixtures will be announced in due course.
