The season is nearly at the end, and i was thinking to myself that we should have a display to remember in "The Shed" for either of the games. Anyone have ideas about what we could do?!

Brady had Arkaga links – report
September 9, 2008

Republic of Ireland assistant manager Liam Brady has had ongoing links with the company which withdrew their backing of crisis club Cork City last month, according to newspaper reports in recent days.
Brady is part of Giovanni Trapattoni’s management team, a role he has taken on alongside that of head of youth development at Barclays Premier League club Arsenal.

But he also has links with Arkaga, the London-based firm which pulled the rig from under Cork City by terminating their investment in the Turners Cross club three weeks ago.

City have been deducted ten points for going into administration, sold star striker Dave Mooney to Reading to meet rising costs and asked remaining staff to take a 70 per cent pay-cut in order to stay afloat.

The Irish Independent described the 52-year-old former Ireland international as a consultant to Arkaga, while a weekend newspaper claimed he was present at a meeting between representatives of the investment firm and Cork boss Alan Mathews prior to last month’s withdrawal.

The revelations are sure both to deepen the anger on Leeside and cause considerable embarrassment to the FAI, which criticised Arkaga in strong terms in the wake of their decision to end their links with Cork City.
