Word is that we're looking at a 26 year old English forward/midfielder who was recently with Bishops Strafford or something. Supposed to be good but subject to medical. Their manager has Arsenal connections and thats how we heard he's available.

The City kit currently has 4 sponsors on it (5 if you include hummel). that may seem like a lot but clubs like our own in places like sweden go massively further in terms of covering a lot more of the shirt with sponsors
http://www.colours-of-football.com/colours...rgryte_1_06.gif Would you balk at this happening to City? or accept it as 'keeping up with the jones' in terms of cash?

What are people's opinions of Ireland's new found fascination with the queer shaped ball? We've started doing well in something and suddenly every second man is an expert. I counted 5 different rugby jersies and at least 3 conversations about rugby at lunch at work today.
what once was the preserve of toffs at christians and pres is now attracting more hype than more traditionally supported sports, eg. gaelic football. do people actually care? or is it just bandwagon jumping? i mean, the sport is pretty easy to follow. there is little or no pressure to take in any match other than the big events, the games are usually pretty near by/easy to get to, there is a pretty shallow depth of knowledge to have to learn (you can rattle off 20 or so players and be as good as the next expert on irish rugby) and importantly, we're seeing success. fickle though it may be, people have been working hard to promote rugby, albeit to the detriment of the clubs and reducing the sustainable entertaining rugby in ireland to 3 franchises. how did rugby's image change so quickly, and will it last?

My hands are a bit cold, maybe fabio had a point.
i wish they'd improve the parking out by UCC, i havent a hope of getting a spot at this hour of the day. If i put my hands next to the fan on the laptop it sort of warms them up! I wonder how Conor feels about being over ruled by other mods? |
