The away end is now a cage so no pitch invasion. I was there before and a city fan was able to drink a can in the stand. Middle of nowhere but they're sound out and normal people.

We can't complain, they're the 2nd worst team of the 8 in the draw based of league placings. A home draw would have been better.

Easy draws again for Rovers and Dundalk. Looks like we might have to beat both of them now to win the cup.

As likely as them drawing each other in semi and we play galway or limerick.

Even though Drogs are cat, they normally give it a go at the derby.

Yep.

Also possible here is that the same 4 teams make the League Cup and FAI Cup semi finals.

Great draw but another ****in away draw in the cup! How many away draws is that since Caulfield took over? Anyone who hasn't been to Longford should go , fantastic set up and great ground place is spotless, hopefully a big crowd

Longford managed by Neale Fenn.

Likely to be Saturday September 9th? Do they still play on Saturday's?

They were home to Sligo in the first round and it was on a Saturday.

They've been picking up a few results lately so I don't they're as bad as the league table suggests at the moment.

They'll be a lot better than Athlone although that's not hard. Still expert us to win this one handy enough.

2 wins away from the Aviva.

Would the Exiles fancy a bus trip for this one?  If it's on a Saturday afternoon, it would be a nice opportunity to go down the country ...with one or two stops along the way.

All their 1st Division games are on Saturday, always at 7.30pm.

Should results stick to form, Id much rather we got Dundalk at home in the semi final, dont think I could stomach another final v them at the Aviva.

Its actually amazing the amount of away draws we get in the cups.

FAI Cup last season, LTFC v CCFC, attendance was 321.

Might be bigger this year with the Fenn factor and their recent improved form...?

Donie

We scored a bucket load of goals in 4 games against them last season.
